ABOUT CRYSTAL

My name is Crystal Hammond and I am the owner of Sitter for your Critter. I started my pet sitting business in 2007 after seeing such a huge need for pet care in the community. I watched my friends and family scramble around extremely stressed out trying to figure out what to do with there furry family members. I heard scary stories about kennels and saw how traumatized the pets would be when they returned home. There had to be another alternative... thus Sitter for your Critter was born!!

My mission was for people to be able to leave their pets behind and not have a doubt in their mind that they were being well taken care. To provide exceptional and consistent pet care to everyone while creating a loving and intense bond with their animals. We would be the animals second family!!

Over the years my business has brought me the most joy I ever could of imagined!! Not only do I get to help owners who are uneasy leaving their loved ones but I get to play with cats and dogs all day. It's a dream come true!!

I've been fortunate enough to be able to take my love of animals and give back to them in the best way I know how. This past year there has been almost 1 million animals abandon solely due to the economy. I have personally seen many families struggle with providing food and veterinary support for their pets so this inspired me to start Helping People Helping Pets. A non profit that will provide nutritional and veterinary support to those who are experiencing financial difficulty. Hopefully we will be able save many pets from going to shelters who have loving and caring owners but are just going through tough times.

Animals have done so much for me this is the least I can do for them!!
